Emily and members of the eXXpedition team were honoured to meet Minister for the Cabinet Office Rt Hon David Lidington, Prime Minister of St Lucia Allen Chastanet, and Prime Minister of Vanuatu Charlot Salwai, at the Commonwealth summit.
Emily, Co-founder of eXXpedition, Round Britain Mission Leader Anne Baker and Crew Member Bryony Meakins had the opportunity to present their work to the world leaders.
The event, held on R/V Endeavour and hosted by No. 10 Downing Street, was an opportunity to discuss a number of pressing challenges for the Commonwealth, including ocean plastic.
